Detailed Face Waxing
Ear, nose and cheek hair removed cleanly with wax or thread.
However good the cut is, stray hair on the ear or above the cheek undoes the whole look. We treat face waxing as part of finishing a haircut — most clients have it done in the same sitting as their hair and beard.
Areas covered
- The outer ear and the ear opening
- Around and inside the nose
- Upper cheek — the stray hair outside the beard line
- Between the brows, and brow shaping
- The neck and nape line
Wax or thread?
Wax is fast and clears a wide area in one pull, so it suits the ears and the upper cheek. Thread works to the millimetre where precision matters — brow shaping and between the brows — and irritates the skin far less. On sensitive skin we recommend thread.
Afterwards
Mild redness for the first few hours is normal. Stay out of prolonged sun that day and keep perfume or alcohol-based lotion off the area. If you are prone to ingrown hairs, a light exfoliation 48 hours later stops the new growth from getting trapped under the skin.
