Frequently asked

Questions We Get Asked

The things people ask most often, answered properly.

Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend booking ahead by WhatsApp or phone so you do not have to wait. Filling in the booking form on this site sends your request to us straight away.
What are your opening hours?
We are open every day, Monday to Sunday, from 09:00 to 20:00. Any change on public holidays is announced on our social media.
Which languages do you speak?
We can communicate in Turkish, English and Arabic. For visitors coming to Gaziantep for work or travel, a photo works just as well as words — show us the style you want and we will take it from there.
Do you have a children's service?
Yes. We have a haircut chair shaped like a toy car, a toy shelf and a green rest corner, so a haircut is something children look forward to. We set aside extra time for a first haircut.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit cards and debit cards. Our card terminal works with all banks and accepts foreign cards as well.
What are your hygiene standards?
All cutting tools are sterilised after every client, a fresh single-use blade is fitted in the razor for each person, neck strips and capes are single-use, and the salon is ventilated on a regular schedule.
Is there parking?
There is free street parking near the salon. For directions, use the map in the contact section.
Which product brands do you use?
We work with original products from established premium brands formulated for men's hair and skin. If you have a known allergy, please tell us before we start so we can choose accordingly.
I can't decide which style suits me — can you help?
Absolutely. Before cutting, our stylists read your face shape, hair type and the way you dress, suggest the modern styles that would suit you, and we start only once you have agreed on one.
Do you offer treatments for hair loss or dandruff?
After a scalp reading we support hair health with anti-shedding keratin care, an anti-dandruff detox and revitalising tonic sessions. These are grooming treatments, though — if you are shedding quickly or widely, see a dermatologist first.
How do you decide which cut fits my head and face?
In men's cutting, head anatomy, jaw shape and the natural growth pattern decide the result. On round faces we keep the sides short and build height on top; on square faces we use softer scissor transitions. We read all of it once you are in the chair and design the cut around it.
Which short cuts are most popular in Gaziantep?
Because of the heat, the two we cut most often here are the buzz cut — one short clipper length all over — and the skin fade, where the sides are taken down to the skin and shaded upwards. Neither needs any morning styling and both look sharp and clean.
Do you have a private area for a quieter visit?
We do have secluded areas when you want a calmer, more private visit. Just mention it when you book.
I'm new in Gaziantep — how do I find you?
We are in Şehitkamil, 15 Temmuz Mahallesi, 148052 Sok. No: 3/1B. Search "HairBoss" on Google Maps or tap the map link in the contact section for directions. We are close to the city centre and the İbrahimli side.
